Terms of Use

Stand: 12. Juni 2026

Die App bietet u. a.

4. Premium, Käufe und Abonnements

Einige Funktionen sind kostenpflichtig („Premium“). Angeboten werden:

Lifetime: einmaliger Kauf, dauerhaft freigeschaltet.

1. Scope and provider

These Terms of Use govern your use of the mobile app „BiteLite“ (the „App“) and its related services. The provider and contracting party is:

Jonas Hallmann
c/o POSTFLEX PFX-238-021
Emsdettener Straße 10
48268 Greven
Germany
Email: bitelite.dev@gmail.com

By using the App you accept these terms.

2. Service description

BiteLite helps you track your nutrition without counting calories: you tap the food groups you ate and see at a glance how balanced your day was. The App offers daily plans, summaries, reminders and, with Premium, additional features (see section 4).

Not medical advice: BiteLite is a self-tracking tool and does not replace medical, nutritional or health advice.

3. Account

You may use the App anonymously or link your account to an email address to back up your data and use it across devices. An anonymous account is stored only on the respective device and may be lost on uninstall. You are responsible for the security of your access.

4. Premium, purchases and subscriptions

Some features are paid („Premium“). We offer:

Lifetime: a one-time purchase, unlocked permanently.
Monthly subscription: a recurring payment that renews automatically for one month at a time until you cancel.

Purchase, billing and management are handled through your app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store). The terms of the respective store apply in addition. The applicable price is shown to you in the App before purchase.

5. Automatic renewal and cancellation

A subscription renews automatically at the displayed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You cancel and manage the subscription in the subscription settings of your app store. One-time purchases (Lifetime) do not renew.

6. Right of withdrawal for digital content

For digital content, your statutory right of withdrawal expires as soon as performance has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Refunds are otherwise governed by the policies of the respective app store.

7. Photo feature and acceptable content

With the optional photo feature you can upload a photo of your meal for AI-assisted portion estimation. Uploading unlawful, offensive or rights-infringing content (e.g. people without consent, prohibited symbols) is forbidden. Violations may lead to account suspension. Details on photo processing are in the Privacy Policy.

8. User obligations

No abusive or unlawful use of the App.
No circumvention of technical protections and no disruption of operations.
Truthful information where required for use.

9. Availability and changes to the App

We strive for stable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be developed further, changed or discontinued.

10. Liability and health note

The summaries shown in the App are non-binding guidance. For health decisions, please seek qualified advice. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as under the Product Liability Act and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

11. Term and account deletion

You can delete your account and all data at any time in the App under Settings > Account > „Delete account“. You additionally cancel an active subscription through your app store.

12. Changes to these terms

We may adjust these terms with effect for the future, e.g. for new features or changes in the law. The current version is always available on this page.

13. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. If any provision is invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective. Contact: bitelite.dev@gmail.com
